My takeaways from the Scotia Application Developer Conference

by Chris on May 11, 2012

On Wednesday I attended the app developer conference that Gus Papageorgiou from Scotia Capital hosted for institutional clients.  Totally awesome of him to invite me.

I wrote a pretty detailed summary of my thoughts from the conference over here:

Developers speak: BlackBerry is making great progress

Judging from the number of developers who have commented on my post so far, I think they are largely in agreement.  But from a shareholder / institutional perspective, I have to say … practically nobody cares about RIM right now.  It just highlights how bad of a taste RIM has left in investors’ mouths over the last couple of years.  It’s downright brutal.
